Sticker on base of Core i7

Hey guys im just assembling my new Core i7 system and have come accross a weird sticker on the base of the processor. The sticker appears to be ripped in half so you cant read what it says. All you can see is "Do not" ! I assume the rest says remove but will it not burn between the mobo and CPU?

Well ive removed it anyway, paper in a hot area dosnt sound good to me! Has anyone else seen this?

Actually, it's pretty common, especially with OEM CPU's, usually it's just a barcode for product identification.
