I've been digging on the disc with SRV and Albert King lately, but I doubt most people here would even know who Albert was. :(

Used to see Stevie for free in the good ole days down at Town Lake here in Austin. He played alot down on 6th at Steamboat. Was pretty cool to be 3 feet away from him onstage and see him put his knee into his #1 Strat against that old Deluxe doing "Third stone from the sun." He would just HAMMER that guitar hard. The neck was bending so hard you just knew it was going to break, all the while it's screaming like mad. Before he released his first record, not to many people knew of him. ON a good night, there might have been twenty people who payed $3.00 to get in the club. Those early shows were far and away the best. He was truly a master of the guitar. There's a video tape of a live show he did in Canada after he released his first album. Check that out.
