I do fancy pears but they kill the appetite really quickly when I do eat them, either fresh or those nasty cans. Haven't eaten them at all for months. Only ate watermelon this summer, which has mannitol, and I did eat too much of that as well.
Watermelon is pretty good. But the most beneficial thing in it, citrulline, is concentrated in the tasteless white portion. Does wonders for your blood flow.

Read this the other day, plugs oranges. One of the suggestions is to put the white part of the peel in smoothies. I tried that and didn't like it.

AFAIK, there's no fruit that gives me diarrhea. In fact, no food. Or headaches, for that matter.

You are lucky. It means that your gut microbiome that you got from your mom is great, you didn't abuse anti-biotics and your liver is in great shape too (you will get headaches, even from eating something as harmless as too many carrots, if your liver isn't doing too well).

My bloodwork is pristine. I also take a probiotic capsule daily.

THIS!!!

Can you please share which exact one you take?
I don't know my way around any issues regarding them. I was having some apparent digestive issues almost 2 years ago, undetermined cause or pathology. I decided that probiotics might help. The problems went away, don't know if the probiotics were a factor but I've kept taking them.

I've bought at Costco and a time or two online.

What I'm taking now (one cap a day) I bought at local Costco warehouse:

Trunature

  • 12 Strains, 10 Billion Viable Cells†
  • Helps Maintain Digestive Health*
  • Supports a Healthy Immune System*
