Steven Spielbergs next movie.......

what is he thinking? i'll do war of the worlds, a new indiana jones flik (that in itself a mistake), a new baywatch movie???

 
This is probably a joke. Is March 22 the Aussie equivalent of April 1?

In any case, this movie will probably make more than Titanic in the foregin market.
 
All he did was buy the movie rights. It doesn't mean he's going to direct it and it doesn't mean it'll actually get made. Do you guys have any idea how many stories, TV shows and scripts get optioned, but never get made? It's a lot.

Chances are he bought it as an investment because whoever makes it, the movie will probably make a ton of money.
 

first of all, it's an Australian source. I don't know if I trust an Australian source for an American director.


secondly, it doesn't say he's going to direct it. it just says he's bought the rights. which could mean film studio Dreamworks has bought the rights.

Yeah, but Jaws would either choke on Hasselhoff's gut (since he wouldn't be sucking it in anymore) or poisoned by Pamela's implants.

And anyway, it made no mention of Spielberg personally being involved in the making of the film, just that Dreamworks was doing it.
 
all it says it dreamworks is going to make a movie. Spielberg might make money off it, but it doesn't mean he is directing it.

Germans love David Hasselhoff!
