Steven Spielberg is a god

1. God is infallible.
2. Steven Spielburg directed "The Terminal"

Therefore, Spielburg != God.

Band of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List ---- All Good

The Terminal, AI ----- CRAP

Just a few I can think of at the moment.

Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, Amistad, Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, etc.
Not many directors have directed THAT many awesome movies.

William Wyler.

Steven Speilberg = War of the Worlds.
Brief Description: Tom Cruise outruns impending doom in a 1985 beaver-whacked plymouth grand voyager.

He does own indeed.

1. "Band of Brothers" is not a Spielberg film;
2. All his stuff past 1985 is glossier and more manipulative than his first series of films, and not at all better... Popular does not equal better...

What movie did you just watch of his?

Amistad.

Yeah, too bad they left out the part where when Cinque went back to Africa he owned slaves.

Amistad was awesome, very very moving and underrated.

That was the problem with the movie though. It was very moving. But then I learn that the guy who cried "Give us free" went back to Africa and owned slaves....I felt a bit cheated somehow.
