Not to take this off-topic or anything, but what exactly has Steve Wozniak done in the last... Oh, say decade, that is worth any note? Yes he co-founded Apple, and designed a floppy drive controller, which is all well and good... But that was all like 30+ years ago, so why is it we care what he has to say today? He may be right, but why should we care what he has to say over any other random present/former T-Bolt owner?

The reason why you haven't seen anything from Wozniak is because he can't anymore. He admits that he hasn't been able to do the same sort of engineering work that he was known for ever since his aircraft accident.

Had a few of em in the office. Awful phones. I had flashed mine to a different rom and that made it decent but stock it was awful. Ended up replacing a few of them before I finally got rid of them. 1 person still has one and hes about to get it replaced as well.

The worst I had was a Samsung Moment. What a total piece of shit. Made the Thunderbolt look good. And really, the T-bolt wasn't entirely bad, it was just an Evo with LTE. But it came out nearly a full year after the Evo with basically the same internals and it sounds like it had some lingering issues. So I don't blame people who say it sucks.

Seriously though, those old pre-OG Droid Android phones were TERRIBLE. I believe the Droid was the first Android phone with a resolution above 320x480 and the first to ship with Android 2.x (a big improvement over 1.x). The Moment didn't have multi-touch, the cell connection (not just data, but voice as well!) would randomly shut off and require a reboot to reset, rebooting took much longer than on a modern phone, battery life was terrible, GPS never even once worked, it was extremely slow and laggy... the only redeeming quality was the keyboard was okay and the slider felt solid.

LOL @ the Thunderbolt hating. My friend recently swapped out his tbolt for my orphaned (read: replaced) Fascinate and couldn't be happier. Granted the Fascinate went through some growing pains as well but a Fassy with AOKP ICS is better than any tbolt IMHO.

What most people fail to realize is that 99% of smartphone buyers/owners do not root/rom their gadgets. Most dont even know WTF that means. So, WOZ saying it sucks means it sucks. He is giving his personal review as a well educated consumer, not as a nerd who is hacking his stuff. I heed the WOZ cuz he knows what hes talking about and being he was the co-founder of apple he, imo, is really not biased like steve snobs.

HTC is in Samsung and Motorola's rear view, and fading. I'd be more interested in Woz's opinion of the SG3.

Got the ICS leak onto the wife's TB. Sooo much better than GB. Sucks that Verizon takes so damn long to update anything, and they still haven't done it officially.

While it's no where near as fluid as my S3, and doesn't seem to have improved performance noticeably in my brief trial, at least you have all the ICS features that are hugely superior to past android versions.
