Does anyone know the setup he had? I'm particularly curious about the audio recording setup, as I currently have a Soundblaster Audigy 2 Plat. Pro and Steinberg Cubase SX... but that new Garage Band looked cool, and I might wanna try it out if I can afford the setup Jobs had.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet, but I might be getting a free Mac Mini, so I decided I might as well try it out.

EDIT: What I'm most interested in is how he got multiple audio streams to be recorded SEPARATELY. Right now I use a mixer plugged into one input on the soundcard, but it looks like he actually had a soundcard with more than one analog input.

You are not really going to be able to do any realtime recording on a Mini with the 4200RPM drive. It may work but I wager it will crap out if you record more than one channel at once. My Powerbook could not handle recording well all the time, same drive.

To do multi-channel recording, you need something like an Mbox or a Digi002.
