Apple Computer CEO Steve Jobs underwent surgery this weekend to remove a cancerous tumor in his pancreas, but he told employees in an e-mail that the surgery was successful and that he expects to be back on the job next month.

Wow, he kept a pretty tight lid on that info until after the successful operation. This guy just oozes secrecy, but I guess that's important for shareholders who would probably dump Apple if Jobs were to leave for an extended period of time.
