I guess the airport didn't get the "I'm a ka-zillionaire and can do whatever the fuck I want" memo.

Well he does have a point "it would be kinda stupid of me to hijack my own plane"

But rules are rules steve. Now buy out Japan and rebrand it to iFly, with customizable security policies for private jet owners.

"Jobs said it wouldn’t make sense for a person to try to hijack his own plane, according to the report. "

Uhh Jobs, I dunno... cuz then crazed million/billionaires (or terrorists with a solid financial backing) could just take anything they want on their own planes, hijack it and crash it into whatever they want?

While implausible, it is not out of the realm of impossibility.

He'll never visit Japan again, because they took his throwing stars. Talk about cutting off the foot to spite the toe. Something tells me they don't care... Steve Jobs is now a supreme douche :(

Why wouldn't he just hire a pilot that would do it without needing the weapons?

I guess he could just ship it or something but I do see his point about private planes.

everyone missing the very last line in the article?

The airport doesn’t have separate boarding arrangements for private-jet users, Uno said.

he had to go through the same procedures as the average flyers.

You mean the only line that really matters? And that just shows how stupid Jobs is being?
