Ya, it does look pretty good.

I just hate the roles where hes meant to be a complete idiot, and im hoping this isnt one of them.

Don't know about the movie but the casting of Carell as Smart is inspired.

I will be highly disappointed if the Cone of Silence doesn't appear in the film.

If Mel Brooks and Buck Henry are involved in this then it has potential. I see them listed under the writing credits at IMDB for characters but don't know if that is due to crediting them for the original series or if they are actively involved in the movie as well.

I saw the trailer for this when my wife and I went to Harry Potter last week. I normally hate these rehash movies, but this one looks pretty funny so far.

Interesting, Dwayne Johnson has completely dropped The Rock from his name now (at least in this movie anyways)

Probably a good move is he really wants to be an actor. I can't image the words "And the oscar goes to ....... THE ROCK!" ever being spoken.

he retired from wrestling so there's no point in bearing "the rock" name. the only wrestler that still bears name for ages is hulk hogan, his real name is terry bollea.

It's been dropped for a while now. Though, they'll sometimes bring up "The Rock" to promote the film.
