so, this kid i knew from high school used to be about 6 feet tall and prob weighed around 240lbs. he was fairly strong, played football, but def. had some fat on him.
i hadn't seen him for a year until this past week i ran into him at the gym. he got HUGE. i'm talking absolutely enormous, prob around 300lbs.
the wierd thing is it's ALL muscle. or rather, he still has the fat from before, but packed on an unbelieveable amount of muscle on top of it. he was doing shrugs with a barbell and five 45lbs plates on each side (495lbs total!). DAMN.
now, i don't like jumping to conclusions, but seriously, how much muscle can a person put on naturally in one year? assume he's doing a very rigorous work out every day, eating a very high protein diet, and lets say even using legal supplements (creatine or whatever).
is it possible to put on THAT much muscle in one year w/o steroids?
Cliffs:
- in one year, kid puts on ~60lbs of muscle
- is that possible w/o steroids?
