I want to open a school that is basically the same plan as a beauty school except it would be teaching something other than beauty classes. Are there any specific rules governing this type of institution? I googled it a bit but all I could find was stuff on how to start a private high school type institution. I would think this is a bit different as far as state rules and what not.

Thanks in advance everyone.

I don't know anything about rules for schools but I can definitely say that you have come to the right place.

You just need a location and instructors.

There are no real laws requiring you to do anything else to have a school of .....

However if you want to get loans and such you will need accreditation and that will be a bit harder.

Depends on who is approving the course and what it is for.

Usually you would partner with a college that has the accreditation.
