Stephen A. Smith: "As an African American I'm offended that because Bonds is a black man chasing Babe Ruth's record, all of a sudden everyone is trying to discredit his work by accusing him of using steroids"

Announcer: "Well he's chasing Hank Aaron's record..."

SA: "Yeah, Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth...look at Mark McGwire, everyone let him off the hook of course it was over the counter Andro etcetera and I find it offensive as an African-American"

Announcer: "Well it was legal when McGwire was doing it"

All these analysts need to stick to analyzing the games and the players on the court. Not giving their stupid ass opinions on society and politics. They are all hyped up trying to sound like bad asses, it's like they all think they are Jim Rome now.

I don't understand why people are using the race card on this one. It's one black man chasing the record of another black man. So the top two home run kings of all time would be black. What the hell is there to get offended about, if you are black?

It's pretty obvious Bonds used roids. Anyone that thinks he didn't is in denial.
