STEP power supplies or hsf's?

Everything about Step is great. I still have a PII 333 at 500 from them.
They honor there warrenty without a question.

it seemed that way to me, from what i read. My first impression was that "well, they're probably small, they look cool, and they look pretty upfront about no-bullsh*t service.

I think I'm gonna get my power supply from em...

any more experiences?

Hmm people have posted problems about them lately and a link about ending end-user support and sales, but I think that may only be for CPUs. Go to the CPU link and read the "Read me first" thing there. I would make sure it doesn't apply to PSU's, which may very well be the case.

Edit: Damn!! Just checked out those PSU's and they do look sweet as hell...475W for only $69 bucks?!??! All the bells and whistles of higher priced fans...gold connex, 2nd fan, wire tubes, etc. Anyone own/use one of these before? I may have to try one out as well. I don't see any specs to see how much it feeds any of the individual lines though.

I would strongly recommend NOT going with this company. They are highly overrated, and the enduser support is terrible. Two fans on my Yukon cooler went out at about the same time, and they would never return my calls. It was impossible to get a hold of them.

Hmmm....just read that little note from Skye again...I would not buy anything from there now....



<< UPDATE: After much debate, our Corporate Officers have decided that it's now virtually assured that STEP will be discontinuing all End User single quantity sales in the very near future. Again, it's not that we want to... it's just proven much too challenging... >>

<< FYI, as STEP is getting out of the End User business, we have let go of the two 'extra' members of our staff here who used to tend to our End User sales. We'll miss them, but greener pastures did await! No big surprise there. =) Please bear with us, as we do need more time to tend to E-Mails and phone calls with our more 'limited' staff. We do hope you understand... >>



Damn....anyone have that PSU??? Maybe I can get one before they close up end-user sales!!

has anyone else noticed that steps hs's are global win hs's? they are identical. just cost more from step. the ps look just like enermax ps. if that's the case the ps may be a good deal.
