Exactly what would I have to do on each machine if I wanted to setup a home network with a Win2k machine as the host and a Win98 machine as the client?

I want to use a proxy to allow the client to access the internet and I'll just be using some crossover cable with a couple of NICs.
 
Step 1: Go to a computer store and buy 3 NIC, and Crossover Cable.

Step 2: Read the Hardware manuals, and install two NIC in the Win2K computer, and one NIC in the W98 computer.

Step 3: Log to the following Site to get info about your Network configuration.

Windows 98 / 98-SE Network Setup.

Windows 2000 Professional, Network Setup.

ICS Installation (NAT Software).

Step 4: While you are in the computer store if they have a sale on Cable/DSL Router buy one for yourself it will be one of the best Holiday gifts you ever bough.

Let me add some info. I am doing this for someone else. They don't have the money to get a router, though I did suggest it. I already have the proxy program (no ICS). And I've set up a couple of networks in Win2k (both machines) but it's been a while so I'm not confident enough that I could do it again.

I will reference those websites listed above, but I wonder if anyone has any additional suggestions.
