I have been following them since 2005 on and off and this is the most detailed presentation that they did to outline their case. It does not make a working device out of Orbo, but I have to adimit that the Steorn has risen the bar in terms of presenting their idea...

The sample is in the test chamber.

And some of these people find their way into office. Some local officials where I used to live pissed away a few tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars to "invest" in one of these free energy devices.
 
First thing to even a idiot should be able to see is, if it makes more power then it uses then why does it need a battery? Just spin it with you hand and it should power itself. If it can;t do that then its, of course, a fake.

But more people give money to "religion" thinking they are doing what the man in the sky wants. So to think this would not make money is even more dumb then those that believe this to be real.

kudos to sean and steorn. This will most likely be the greatest event in human history. Or at least one of the very few significant discoveries that completely revolutionize man as a civilization. We are at the very beginning of human history compared to whats to come. And steorn, orbo and all its employees will echo down the halls of history until there is no one left to read it.

I hope that:
1. No one is scammed.
2. We can actually see some benefit from the device even though it is not overunity. For example he was explaining the EMF canceling effect present in the device. If it is possible to get rid of the EMF, the efficiency of the electric motors that use the emf canceling tech will increase significantly, so the technology may be still useful even without the perpetum mobile effect.
3. I have some respect for them, because they are still around since 2006 and since 2007 demo fiasco. Can you imagine how much ridicule they have to endure daily from everybody? They all have families and friends and I doubt that they are supportive. What motivates them to keep pressing on with the device?

I did some work for state government, and at one point this state legislator demanded we meet with these "energy entrepreneurs" from his district about why we won't permit their device that would save cities millions of dollars on energy. So we sat through their presentation about "Magna-Gas".

It basically consisted of
Step 1) Insert ANYTHING into the Magna-Gas chamber
Step 2)
Step 3) Energy!

We asked what Step 2 was, and all we got was some jumble about Magna-Gas being a revolutionary process. At that point we left.

This sounds fairly similar.

Well sure, but without any schematics, and without good views of everything, you don't know what they're measuring. I can pop an oscilloscope into a 120V line and graph out a great sine wave. "Oooh look at those squiggly lines on the complicated electrical device! He must be doing science!"

Yeah, they claim the battery's there because the thing is supposedly charging it. Fine, start it up, then replace the battery with an LED array. I predict the room will be dark fairly quickly.

Until someone shows me a working ZPM, yeah sorry, basic thermodynamics wins.

What's ZPM?
 
Any device capable of producing more energy than it takes in would thereby allow light-speed travel, no? Infinite energy means conversion of matter to energy as required by relativity.
 
They're not scammers to the general public directly but to the oil industry. They sugar coat everything and work until they (the OPECrs - pronounced oh peckers) are convinced that this device will threaten the ICE (internal combustion engine) dependency on dino fuel. So the oil folks push the squelch button with a check with seven 0s in it and you no longer hear about it. 😉

As for being real if it moves, and makes noise and makes me curse at it, it's real. 😛
 
The increase in the internal energy of a system is equal to the amount of energy added by heating the system minus the amount lost as a result of the work done by the system on its surroundings.
