SteelSeries SX vs. Razer Ironclad Mouse Pads

I want to get a really good mouse pad.

Right now, I am just using my keyboard tray surface and sometimes use a generic Fry's mouse pad for my Performance MX mouse.

I've decided that a large surface is the way to go as well as having it really smooth and durable.

I've narrowed it down to the SteelSeries SX and Razer Ironclad.

Which one do you guys recommend? Anyone have experience with either one?

The SS SX is $50 and the Razer Ironclad is $60. Quite a lot for a mousepad but I want something that is highly functional and durable.
