I was shopping around for some new headphones to replace my Siberia V2s (nothing wrong with them, just felt like getting new headphones), but after some shopping around in the $80-120 range, I didn't find anything that grabbed my attention. I was looking at the ASUS Vulcan ANC, but found out the Siberia V2s actually have larger drivers and a higher freq response - I've read that neither of those specs really mean anything about quality though.

Audio isn't really my forte - more of a general hardware guy, but I was wondering if there are any decent headphones (non-USB) in that price range that would out-perform my V2s enough to dish out the money.

I'm interested in getting headphones as well, but since you specifically mentioned Siberia V2, thought I'd link you here: http://1saleaday.com/flash/

They have a lot of SteelSeries for good prices right now.

Couldn't turn down the SS 7H iPod for $40 - lowest retail online is $120! First time I spotted a damn nice deal on 1saleaday and bought it. Thanks a bunch!

Unfortunately they are only for iOS handhelds because the input jack is a 3-band, so the mic wouldn't work on a PC and I also read that the cable length is very short (because it's not meant for computers). So I guess the hunt is still on for a new gaming headset.
