Iono, this looks like a pretty hot deal, since the pad usually sells for at least 30+. It's made of plastic like Func pads and comes with a carry bag, pretty large too at 12 in x 10 inches and
the reviews really make this pad sound sweet.

I might just buy it, since since my cloth mousepad that i've been using for 4+ years has asweat outline of my wrist and smells like salt water. Lmao

i'm not a fan of plastic pads. just never liked the feel of it, plus they wear down faster than cloth pads. anyways, mousepads are a very subjective subject.

Much like $600 video cards, I'm not a fan of $40 mousepads just on principle.

Personally, I dont even use a mousepad anymore - laser mice work great on all 3 desk surfaces I have 🙂

Then again, if you're into the product, looks like a great price 😀

got one cause it was cheap, and almost twice the area of my old UPS mousepad...

thing is pretty rough but works well. not this version of the steel pad comes with two intel logos painted on it, so if youre not into that pass.

all in all a good deal, works well with my mx1000 and skatez.

Icemat 2>Steelpad but for $15 that's a great deal. I saw this about 2 weeks ago, it was on there for a quite a while unnoticed, but I already have the Icemat 2 and am happy with it so I passed on it.

Your're better off buying an optical mouse, which doesn't require using a mousepad. This is like buying F1 spec tires for a Yugo. The money you spend on tires would buy you a better car.

Obviously you've never had any of these higher end mousepads...the Icemat I have is designed strictly for optical mice! The motion with it is much more precise than anything I've used before.
