They need to capitalize off of those turnovers as well
Both Greenbay and Pittsburg were in it (only 1 touchdown down) right until the end - only to miss the tying opportunity despite the 4+ turnover differential in favor of the Bengals.
Efficient teams like Indy or Denver will just keep up with and put away the Bengals in the end.
The Steelers should have won this game if not for all the mental errors, I think health has a lot to do with it as well - if Ben was really as injurred as they were leading on (and as he was showing), it would have been sick to see what his performance would have been if he were near 100%... 386 yards (he's the passing leader so far, with Farve 2nd @ 277) and 3 TDs, several of the INTs weren't terrible passes, but they didn't look very strong, especially his first INT coming right off of falling on his injurred hand.
Everything just went wrong for the Steelers, and everything right for the Bengals. Hines Ward dropping a pass that most likely would have lead to a TD, instead they settle for a field goal. Hines Ward fumbling when they were in scoring range after the dirty hit on Roethlisberger by Thurman. The fumbled punt after the Steelers first possession that would have resulted in Steelers ball - only the ref pulled the trigger and called him down. The INT Polamalu should have had that most likely would have been a TD to tie it...very exciting with so many close calls.
With such a prolific offense its mind boggling that they don't capitalize more off of all the turnovers that snatch up, even the uggly game for the Vikings should have been far ugglier as the Bengals didn't convert several turnovers...
Steelers are going to need some help to get into the playoffs though, a shame. They're really a good team but injurries have really seem to have hurt their chances just like with the Patriots (although they'll still make the playoffs by winning their division, however I doubt they'll get far).
All in all, it was definitely one of the most exciting games I've seen. I can only see the Bengals O getting better, as scarey as that sounds, and if they get a decent front seven to compliment their DBs, a superbowl should be a lock for this team.
