Steel Series Engine Problems

Has anyone had very much trouble with the Steel Series Engine software? My Sensei raw works just fine on the windows drivers.....as soon as I load up the Steel series engine and set everything up the mouse becomes intermittent and starts to freeze up. Works for maybe one or two boots of my computer and then mouse cursor freezes up. Already upgraded the mouse firmware and have the latest 2.7.3047 steel series engine.
 
Assigning macros, keystrokes and fine tuning dpi settings on the fly. This is a gaming mouse not a generic so it would help to run the Steel Series software if it didn't cause problems for me.
