Steam the last month has been on a roll with good prices. I wonder if this a portent of things to come?

I have got to stop buying games that I don't have time to play...must resist this one...

OMG I hear you. All these great 3$ games keep popping up and I keep buying them for me and my son. I've been eating better and instead of 7-10$ for lunch I can buy this or the GTA! Steam has been kicking some butt lately.

The word "portent" implies something bad is going to happen. I don't think that's the case. 😉

I'm leaving this one be though. As it is, I have far too many games to get caught up on and I can't justify adding another to the stable.

$5 for this game already? Though I'm not surprised; I thought the first game was pretty stupid based on the demo. Still, I'll check out the demo for SP2.

yeah after reading that review I think i'll pass. Alot of what he mentioned that was no longer in the game is some of the stuff I liked about the game. 🙁

Changes in the game did make some old users mad

I know someone like this, who was an avid player of the original SupCom but hated SupCom2.

I'm wondering if all these haters would still hate if the units were changed (name and look) and the game was named something else?

Sounds like the same deal as Splinter Cell. A lot of fans of the original games didn't like the changes made in Conviction.
