Just played Dirt2's demo for awhile, and found that I cound't use joystick to play it.
Is there any wrong? Does it mean I can ony play it with wheel or keyboard?

Did you configure your stick?
I play it with a mouse + keyboard fine though...one of the few racing games. From hood view...anytime else it is hard.

Finally I jumped and picked dirt2 due to I found a patch had been released for supporting logitech rumblepad 2. Hope I can play dirt2 with my joystick now. ^_^

Been playing Dirt 2 for a couple days. The game is awesome, so much better than NFS Shift. Tried Grid a little and it looks pretty cool but Dirt 2 is taking up all of my gaming time right now.

Yeah, I'm having a good time with Dirt2. I've played it before, but I have really gotten into it now. I've been using the 350Z a lot, and really prefer Croatia for races. Using the automatic trans right now, and playing on serious difficulty. I really want a wheel however (G27 would be awesome).

I know lots of people that have no problem with it working.

You really think so? I picked it up for $10 from D2D and I LOVE it.

The retail version works fine for me. The only oddity is you should install the game and then patch immediately so it doesn't install Starforce on first run. Surely the Steam version is the latest patched version, which is sans Starforce.

Funny thing about this deal is that it's completely awesome, but I already own 4/5 of those games and I couldn't care less about Fuel.

Dirt (PC retail)
Dirt 2 (PS3)
Grid (PC retail)
ToCA Race Driver (GoG.com purchase before they removed it)

The 350z is my favorite car. It just seems so much nicer to drive.

I've really been enjoying both Grid and Dirt 2. Biggest problem I had with Dirt 2 was the large number of unskippable cutscenes at the beginning before even being allowed to access the quit menu. As such, when I ran out of time and had to leave yesterday, I had to Alt-F4 to get out. Then I had to sit through all the unskippable cutscenes again later. When I finally got through all of them and finished the first race, only then was I able to exit the game normally. Also, the options to change screen resolution to be higher than 800x600 weren't opened up until after all the unskippable cutscenes as well (but at least I didn't have to race before I got the option to change).

So other than the menus, Dirt 2 is pretty awesome. Grid has better menus and is also awesome. Love the graphics and performance of both games.
