I played the first one and enjoyed it.

Anyone have any thoughts about the others? Worth the $15 for the pack?

I can't remember for sure, but I think Forgotten Sands was the weakest of the bunch and it was still ok. For $15 I'd say it is a pretty good deal, $3 per game. None of them appear to have that always on DRM either which is a plus EDIT: Forgotten Sands does have that always on bullshit /thumbs down

I might just get Sands of Time, always heard it was good but never played it myself. Not really interested in the others.

Hmmm... might be worth getting the pack. I played through some of the first and second, but none of the 3rd. Also played the newest one to completion. It was okay but definitely lacking compared to the others. I definitely don't need anymore games though.

PoP(2008) was weak.. it is too easy, but overall it was OK.

Sand of Time, Warrior Within and Two Thrones are excellent IMO. Well worth the $15 for those three alone.

How are these with a keyboard vs with a controller? I played SoT with a controller and it was alright good with a KB + M?

What about the Forgotten Sands?

I already played these when they came out, but I went ahead and bought them to support Ubisoft. They're one of the few companies taking an active stand against piracy.

Not sure if serious.

Here's how PC Gamer described its test:
The game first starts the Ubisoft Game Launcher, which checks for updates. If you try to launch the game when you're not online, you hit an error message right away. So I tried a different test: start the game while online, play a little, then unplug my net cable. This is the same as what happens if your net connection drops momentarily, your router is rebooted, or the game loses its connection to Ubisoft's 'Master servers'. The game stopped, and I was dumped back to a menu screen—all my progress since it last autosaved was lost.

Hasn't Ubisoft gotten rid of the always online DRM scheme and patched it out of the games that contained it?

If they haven't I would advise against purchasing any of the titles that use it, however, I believe reading somewhere that they got rid of it..

Yea they were supposed to have ended that... Maybe they didn't patch the Steam version yet though...

I played through the 3 Sands of Time last summer & they were great. Then they released Forgotten Sands. And I can't play that one at max gfx. Lame.

I think that was only for new releases. Older games still have it IIRC.

Looking forward to see what's on sale the other days of the week.

We will probably have these themed days for the rest of the week I imagine.

Splinter Cell
Rainbow Six/Ghost Recon
Assassins Creed
Flight combat games
Far Cry
Maybe some other war day or maybe a Might and Magic day since HoM 6 comes out in a few months.

If we are really lucky we can get a Petz and CSI day :p

i looked through their catalogue, saw the R6 collection and thought maybe there was a chance i'd buy something from them if it got a decent sale price. then i opened it up and saw that it lacks the first couple of series from the collection and decided my steam spending would be off for the week.

As of 6AM the monday deal is still running.
Wish I cared about Prince of Persia, 15 bucks for a bunch of games is tempting.

Honestly if you guys haven't played the 3rd one that is defintely the one to get into. Slick platforming combined with nice stealthy parts and bad ass assassination 'min game' though the quick time events are slightly frustrating depending on how good you are with them but there's always a rewind mechanic or you can fight them normally if you mess up. Great great game.
