For the winter sell, depending on the day, there were 1500-1700 games on sale at any given time.

There really isn't much that won't be on sale.... the question is "how much of a sale."

Too bad Arma 2 CO doesn't look like it will be on sale. Interested in the DayZ mod, but skeptical at full price.

Guys, these are just packs that they are adding for the sale. Doesn't mean what is already on Steam currently wont go on sale, or be a daily deal at that. These packs are pretty common now for Steams big sales. Plus we have 5 more days before the sale for more stuff to be added to the registry anyways.

Also, the day listing only includes the indie games as was mentioned in the OP.

The thing about steam sales is that I already have every game on steam I could ever want from past steam sales. I'm only interested in this point at new releases, and since those won't be on sale dirty cheap any time soon, and I have a massive backlog of games to play I see no point anymore.

Maybe the christmas sale will have someone for me.

they do add older games every now and then, plus indie games.

I quit buying Indie games from Steam once I stumbled upon Humble Bundle, Royal Indie Bundle, Indie Gala Bundle and perhaps a few others. I figured eventually that's where they'll end up and if not, no big loss for me.

I hope that is not the real sale list.

What about the left 4 dead series? Elder scrolls series? Quake series? Doom series? Unreal?

Those will all likely, most definitely be on sale. The list in the OP is FAR from complete, and only lists the indie bundles and publisher packs.

Eh, not a whole lot of stuff on the list right now that's interesting that I don't already have. Felghana is probably the only one I'd go for. Hopefully Witcher 2 will be somewhere in the sale, deals have been scarce since the EE release.

I hope those are not the only games going on sale.

I want to pick up a couple of copies of dead island to gift out, as well as the left 4 dead series, oblivion,,,, and a few other games.

I'm pretty sure 75% of the steam library will be on sale. Probably even some of the newer releases like Max Payne 3.

Would be nice if they had an option to build a bundle out of those indie games. I've got at least one or two from each of those packs. Don't think they'll come with gift copies otherwise it wouldn't be too bad.
