I didn't see anything particularly interesting to me. If someone wants to buy those big publisher collection packs, that might entice some folks. Personally, I've already gotten any games I want from the collections offered.

Maybe Witcher 2 as well, its $33.49 and got good reviews. I don't believe my box can play it though.

Yes, Steam has cornered the market of impulse buying. Fortunately for me over the years I've realized I just don't need them and have managed to stay away 🙂

Not to change subject but how are
Just cause 2 for $5
and
Hamilton's great Adventure for $5 ?

I bought JC2 for $5 a while back - haven't played it much, but for $5 it seems worthwhile. No experience with Hamilton's Great Adventure.

JC2 was worth the full $60 and then some.

For $5, it is a great price, and worth it. However, there is LOTS of repetition in what you do, so it definitely isn't worth over $20 IMO.

Don't get me wrong, blowing up stuff is very fun, but doing the same kinds of missions over & over (& over) isn't.
It also has pretty good gfx, and I think it requires a DX10 or better video card.
