Steam randomly adding games to your account?

I have some games on my account that I don't remember buying.

Like it's showing Game of Thrones on there and I never bought that. Also Penumbra: Overture.

They don't show up under Licenses and Subscriptions or Store Transactions.

Only thing I can possibly think of is from Humble Bundle, but I don't remember buying any bundles with those games in them.
 
Penumbra: Overture is in one of the earlier Humble Bundles.

Not sure what happened about Game of Thrones. Did someone send you a gift?

Just checked Humble and you are right, I got that from them.

No idea on Game of Thrones. If it was gifted I would have received some kind of notification, right? I don't remember seeing that. Not sure who would have gifted it to me either.
 
When it's gifted, not only do you get a notification in Steam with which you have to choose whether to place the gift into your games library or keep it as an inventory item that you can give to someone else, you also get an email.
 
I also assumed that it was Telltale's GoT at first, but this seems to be the likely explanation. Mystery solved? 🙂
