Steam question - downloads

pontifex

Lifer
I started to download a game then decided that I didn't want to continue so I hit delete local content.

However it still shows up in my downloads section as paused. How can I remove it from there?

Close and reopen steam.

When you right-click the item and delete the local content, your library will still show the game available to you to download. However, the text will be a darker color, like gray, to signify that it's available but not installed. When it's installed, the game name text will appear bright white.

If you don't want to see games in the Library that you own but are not installed, click the drop-down menu and select the "Installed" option.

RtGDFM.

You don't have a "downloads" screen.

Read the fucking manual.

If you buy a game on steam, it will always be listed in your library with dark gray text if it's not installed and bright white text if it is installed. If you are having trouble uninstalling a game that IS installed, restart your computer and try again.

Steam is really simple, it doesn't fuck up often.

Besides, if you're having trouble with STEAM, you should post on the STEAM FORUMS. /done assisting here

Shhh, we're trying to get his problem fixed by pointing him in the right direction. The downloads screen is not where he needs to be.

you try to help (being an elitist asshole about it all the while) and you don't even read/understand the problem.

lol, nice try playing it off like that.

You didn't know there was a d/l section and you got called out on it.

Suck it up and move on.

You assume too much, but I like how you post in here just to troll without actually adding to the conversation. Stay classy.
