Steam Purchase/ Gifting Question

I'm interested in picking up the Eidos package for $49.99.
Would it be possible to gift some of those games I did not intend to play to my son's account?

LOL, of course not. You think the world's most overbearing DRM is going to allow something so simple and obvious? No, they'll lock you into every one of those games, regardless of whether you want to play them.

And if they did not, do you still believe they could charge $49.99 for it? Batman:AA is $45 by itself right now on Amazon. "Locking you in" to 19 additional titles for another $5 isn't exactly as sinister as you're pretending. Many of the benefits and drawbacks of Steam are interdependent and you're ranting about the drawbacks without consideration of the benefits they allow.
