I am slightly irritated because I just bought HOMMV from Gogamer a week ago.

On Steam:
19.99 for HOMMV
8.99 for Hammers of Fate
17.99 for Tribes of the East

35.99 for the complete pack

At Gogamer
7.90 for HOMMV
19.90 for Hammers of Fate
19.90 for Tribes of the East

47.70 for all + shipping

I was under the impression that Tribes of the East was stand-alone, as in you don't need the original HOMMV to play it. Hmm. That would explain Steam's price.

Is it anywhere near as good as HOMMIII?

If it is, I think I've found a new game to buy.

WOW! Last week I was looking at HOMMV and was wondering why the hell they didn't have the expansions on Steam. They must have read my mind, now I can buy it.

I dont think so.

I have both and Heroes 5 just seems to be lacking in fun. And (like the transition between Baldurs Gate 2 and Neverwinter Nights) the move to 3D really didnt help gameplay at all and even seems to make it slightly more annoying.
