got this game a few months ago but on trying steam says it's running but only 1 process. no activity in the process at all. rebooted/reinstalled steam and no change. got the message about starting in safe mode for the game but that failed too,
decided to test on my laptop so copied the folder over, installed on my laptop which found the files and verified and once past the "open in safe mode" message it worked.
uninstalled from my PC, moved the folder back etc. now it runs fine. clearly the files/install was ok but there must have been some config files somewhere which weren't removed until i chose to uninstall the game.
i figured they would be in the users folder but couldn't see it (saved games/my games etc) and on reinstalling steam i deleted everything bar the steamapps folder and steam.exe so where else should i look?
