Steam Link Issues

Hi all,

I recently just got a steamlink as a gift and I don't seem to be having a great experience with it like some of the other reviewers. My setup is as follows:

PC:
Core i5-2500k
MSI GTX 970
Wireless Network Card: TP-Link TL-WN951N 300mbps
Router: D-Link 850L Dual-Band

My PC is located upstairs while my TV is located on the ground floor. The steamlink is connected to the 5Ghz bandwidth, while my PC is connected to the 2.4Ghz bandwidth. The problem is I can't play games like the Witcher 3 without the game stuttering like crazy.

Is this a limitation with wireless technology? I'd love to run a Ethernet cable but with my setup, its just not feasible. Any recommendations to make my experience more enjoyable?

Thanks

As SithSolo said its the wireless. Get yourself a cable and it will work fine. Ive got a cable going from my PC upstairs to the router downstairs and my steam link works fantastically.

For something that involves quite a few components working together im very impressed with how well its worked so far  Only had minor issues with some games.
