Ok, I don't have the platinum pack and it didnt even ask me for a CD key. I just have a free copy of CS that came with my video card.
Oh well, I already uninstalled Steam after it screwed up my computer and it was discovered that it was spyware.
 
I actually played CS 1.6 10 minutes ago! My FPS is sooo choppy it's crazy! I'm skipping like 2 frames every second! 🙁

I think Steam is short for "Steaming pile of sh*t". I am trying to play a simple game of Half-Life and the thing freezes loading levels. Lame.

Ummm.....no. You are the 1 percent of steam users that it worked great for. The other 99 percent had HELL getting through this. IT SUCKS AND WILL ALWAYS SUCK. :|
 
I need to go out and buy CS so I can get a cd key.... I was using the Steam beta, which didn't need a cd key.
