I saw one of those steam irons at the mall that release a LOT of steam. I was thinking of buying one, because my work clothes are a pain to iron (I am using a $100 iron). It takes like 15 minutes to do 1 dress shirt (100% cotton). and these aren't cheap dress shirts either, they're the $40 ones from lands end.

so has anyone ever bought one of those super steam irons they sell at the kiosks at the mall?

Get your shirts dry cleaned.

no, dry cleaning adds up.

Its not just my shirts, its my pants too. I'm saving up because I drive 58 miles each way to work and I want to buy a new car next year. I also plan on buying a place in 6 years.

if it takes 15 minutes to iron one dress shirt, I think you need to work more on your ironing skill before getting another iron.

long sleeved casual buttoned shirts only take 5 minutes to do, its the material. The less cotton in it the easier it is to iron and the less steam you need.
