Thought I'd point out that this weekend sale on steam is for indie titles. I've lately found indie games to be refreshing time wasters compared to the big budget titles, so I figured I'd bring them to attention.

$30 gets:
Audiosurf
Blueberry Garden
Braid
Crayon Physics Deluxe
Darwinia
Everyday Shooter
Gish
Mr. Robot
The Path
World of Goo

Nice, some good ones in there. I'm sure some of the others are good too but I haven't heard of them.

There's also a $20 deal with just blueberry garden, braid, everyday shooter, the path, and world of goo. Still, I think the other 5 games are worth the extra $10.

I ended up getting the $20 pack, as I already 3 or 4 of the 5 other games.

Braid was fun but it sure made my head hurt at times.

I jumped on the $30 deal over the weekend and of the time I spent playing these games, I spent most of the time playing Braid (also played a little bit of World of Goo, Audiosurf, and Everyday Shooter). It starts getting very hard at the later levels!! The first four were quite easy, 5 was moderate but doable, and 6, well, I walked through 6 w/ only 1 puzzle piece 😱
