It's better IMO, but plays way different so some like 3 better. Can't go wrong either way IMO

Agreed about the savings adding up. Myself, I found some very good deals around black friday. Throughout the year though it seems there are certain sites and certain times where you can find comparable deals. Nuuvem often has great prices, kinguin has come through with some very nice deals as well.
