Steam error message

I have tried to login to two of my steam games or my steam acct but after trying to load I get a "bad module friends/friendui.dll not loading" error message. Can someone tell me whats going on with this? I have uninstalled and reinstalled steam three times and still getting the same error. Thanks in advance for any help.
 
Problem solved. I deleted the friendsui.dll and the server.dll and redownloaded day of defeat and half life. Thanks
