I highly recommend Flatout UC. Easily the best offroad racing/derby game ever made.

Nikopol is a great adventure title for a buck and change. Great storyline, environment, and atmosphere, although the puzzles are pretty obtuse.

Over $300, and that's not trying to spend on it. Only a few low level premium tanks.

I've actually cut back a lot. But that adds hours and hours of grinding.

I know someone who's spent - I'm not sure, maybe thousands, and I hear of plenty of people who spent a lot more than I have, I think several in this thread.

It just add some perspective that while it seems outrageous compared to things like Fallout 3 for $2.49, it actually isn't all that expensive when compared to some 'free to pays'.

Wonder if the character sale did well in the flash sale. It's pretty expensive for a character pack. I guess this belongs in the game thread, but I installed, played a few levels, and got bored. Proceeded to free up space for games I bought during the sale.

That's a bad analogy. A better one is a kid who has bought nothing but bikes for $0-$500 going to buy his first car and saying 'this is a ripoff, I never paid that much for a bicycle'.

If this is not a good game not worth the money, that's a totally different issue than 'ohmigosh Steam just a lot of $3 games so this is a ripoff' no games cost that'.

No one explicitly put it that way, but that's the reaction I'm basically responding to. I haven't seen a lot about the game quality posted.
