The Pit is not a 4x type Sword of the Stars game, the name is misleading - it's a rogue-like and I found it a good one.

Three 'classes'; there is some basic 'crafting' that adds some variety, some like getting recipes in-game, others just look them up.

Decent Roguelike. Nothing special but worthy of the price.

Afaik it has tenuous links to SoTS like mentioning alien races and such from the other games (which I have never played)

GREAT GAME!

i was so addicted to it when i got it. played like 27hs to it in the a week or something like that. I remember i was playing darksiders 2 (one of my favourite franchises) and i put it on hold because i couldnt stop playing FTL

the bad thing is that i was never able to beat it..even with 27hs :S
