The feeling of every weapon feels good, they all feel powerful.

I'd have to disagree here with one weapon type. It's probably the Warhammer 40k buff in me but the Plasma weapons just feel so wrong.

Yeah, I stayed with the standard Bolt Pistol when I could. The Plasma Pistol was meh (as was the Plasma Rifle and Plasma Cannon).

That 'flamethrower shotgun' to which you refer was probably the Melta Gun. Never really used it, preferring to snipe and blast stuff with the Lascannon.

yeah i used the lascannon and sniper most of the time...its funny how a game that seems to be a crazy and chaotic slaughter ends up with a space marine sniping from far away until he has no other choice

i was playing it in hard difficulty and charging into the middle of the battlefield would get me killed in 3 seconds...

i didnt use the melta gun much either, but it was indeed awesome when i first used it :p

If you like oldschool Sierra-style adventure games, you should like these. They're very well-made and have a great sense of humor.

First steam game I ever purchased, also first time I installed steam, I played the first one in a browser and enjoyed it. Now that my computer actually works I can begin gaming again.

Go me.

It does look interesting, I too never heard of it, but still too high in price for me, might get tossed on the wishlist.

I don't necessarily put a lot of stock into review scores, but typing "Cursed Crusade review" into Google reveals that neither IGN nor Gamespot liked it... 4/10 and 3/10, respectively. It's especially telling to see a 4 from IGN, given that their review scale is usually stuck in the 7-9 range.

Promising trailer, terrible reviews as low, buggy production values.

I don't see a 'daily special' box on Steam currently, it's in the list of all the sales.

Wait, so Bohemia can make a game like that? Surely they could also condescend to make a middle ground shooter that has large maps like ArmA but closer to Battlefield gameplay...to fill the gap left by BF3 turning to the CoD side of the Force.

Anyone with a verdict on UFO:A?

I don't have anything to do tonight; I feel like trying something new if it's decent.

Horrible game and not worth it at all. The first SC and SC FA were great, this was some kind of consolized abortion.

If you want to play large scale then just get Supreme Commander Forged Alliance

I have 2 keys that will activate on Steam and give you Supreme Commander Gold Edition (includes SC and SC FA). They were recently (like 2 months ago) allowed to be activated on Steam and since I own it already on Steam I don't need my retail keys for it anymore.

If anyone is interested, I'd sell the keys for $5 each. 75% off SC Gold Editions price on Steam and cheaper than this turd of the day :p

Yet another game to play.

Played TA 12ish years ago and thought it was the best RTS I had played to that point. I'm hoping SC2 will be comparable.
