i dont mean those cheap 19.95 x 3 payments infomercial ones... rather the 3-500 bucks models...
 
My parents have one at their house, it really does get it a lot more clean than a normal vacuum, its also a lot more work though... you have to go a lot slower and cleanup can be messy.

It is A LOT better at getting stains out too..
 
hmm i see. you talking about those steamers made for cleaning floors?

how about those that are general purpose... whether it's for steaming the brickwall surface of your house, to your rims, to grease on your oven, etc.
 
I think you could get the same results by pouring boiling water out of a kettle on those things...
