Has anyone done this?

I have a white-ish and creme-ish leather seats on my Infiniti, it'd called "stone"

While it doesn't look dirty by itself, compared to the rear seats they are. I do the normal leather wipe conditioner and simple cleaning. But I was looking for something more effective. I was going to buy a small handheld steamer for like $100 and try it on my leather.

You guys think it will clean well? I know leather expands with heat and people use steam to get creases out of the seats this way.

I've seen leatherette and that seems like its really involved. I don't want to go that deep

i would avoid using a steam cleaner on leather..it may become damaged. Talk to your local drycleaner first.

Also if you watch the end of the second youtube video, he takes a steam machine end and places a microfiber towel over the opening, run the steamer and scrub the surface with the steam through the towel. It works WONDERS on plastic dashboards etc.

I used Soft Scrub with no bleach on some leather sets before, excellent results.

Of course I really didn't care if they got screwed up, so I was willing to take the chance. You would want to test on an inconspicuous area.

I do warm water every other month. It seems to get some off but then I got a good look at my rear seats compared to fronts. Its almost a whole new shade (think of those teeth whiting shade charts)

I might pay a pro to do something to them.
