Which do you prefer?

I myself am partial to steamed bao, but it seems like most non asian folk never heard of steamed bao.

Steamed all the way. Either the dimsum char-siu bao or the Vietnamese pork/sausage/egg banh bao combo.

Steamed...

but then I found Pineapple BBQ Pork Buns. Mmmmmmmmmm....

I'll hit up my regular dim sum place tomorrow and see if I can snag any.

I have only had steamed, the last time I bought some I didn't know it had paper on the bottom and ate that also on 2 out of the 3.

Paper doesn't hurt anything. When I was little, after finishing a cupcake, I'd eat the paper shell. Chewy, cakey goodness :^D

Steamed.

Baked is for the incompetent who are inept at steaming. Anyone can bake, but only the few can steam...

Seriously, there are some terrible steamed ones out there.
