So Comcast has been doing stuff here lately and I was curious to see what ports Comcast blocks, so I stuck a computer in the DMZ and turned off the software firewall and ran a port scan from GRC and all ports are coming back stealthed. I tried two other computers in the DMZ and got the same thing. I even connected directly to the modem bypassing the router and still all ports are stealthed. This wasn't the case before as I remember port 25 was blocked and I wanted to see if port 80 was blocked too. I have a Teamspeak server and I will be hosting a Grand Theft Auto server here soon too. I verified if my server was blocked by creating a VPN and logging into my Teamspeak server from another computer and it logged in. I even have a SSH server in the router and I successfully connected to it through a VPN. The VPN connects to Europe. I even ran another online port scanner and all the ports are stealthed.
So what gives? How can I be stealthed and still accessible? I was under the impression that a stealthed port won't allow any connection, but it does.
