Ok, i've read ALL, and i mean ALL, the guides on stealth-modding your cd/dvd drives. The thing is, i don't wanna damage my drives. I think the closest i've seen is using double sided mounting tape, but don't know if the residue will come off later.
Also, i wanna hear from you guys, what's been the best way: removing both the tray plate & the front of the cd rom, or keeping it all on & taping on top of that?
