stealing my girlfriend's DVD drive :-)

Well, I'm not stealing it

We're going to put it on my system since she never uses it and I have a nice self-built setup than her. Now what software would you guys recommend for viewing DVDs on my Win2K machine?

This will be my first time delving into the whole DVD thang Thanks guys and gals!

She has a cdrw and I'm going to throw into her system a CDRom drive as a replacement.

She always asking me to get a TV for my small studio since she literally spend all of her time there, which is cool w/ me

So I figure we can watch some movies on my puter.

WinDVD works fine w/out decoder card.

Do you know that 12X DVD cost around $50 shipped nowaday? Of course, you already knew those meal you bought her cost more than that...

I like WinDVD 2000 from www.intervideo.com. The other popular player is PowerDVD 3 from www.cyberlink.com.

While I prefer WinDVD, you can apperntly get an OEM copy of PowerDVD for $5+shipping. So that's probably the better choice. Not sure wehre you get the $5 PowerDVD though, it's not from their site.
