does anybody know any good steakhouses in the san francisco bay area? i've been to outback, black angus, house of prime rib, and tahoe joe's and i'm looking for something new. i'm personally leaning away from prime rib for now but my gf might be interested in prime rib places too.

i third ruth chris's steak house.. i personally love house of prime rib.. if you wanna try another place you can try broadway prime in burlingame.. it's pretty much the same as house of prime rib.. the story is that some of the people from house of prime rib left and went to start broadway prime.. so the food is pretty similar.. also, harris' on... i think pacific and.. not sure... that place looks nice.. but i've never been there

Mortons is a strange place. Besides killing ~$70 for a meal for two, I swear, the waiters are trying to sell you steaks and lobsters like used cars. :)

Mmm... definitely Tahoe Joe's in Vacaville, though the one in SLO is better. Affordable and oh so good. Never tried Broadway Prime though... There's also the chain Hungry Hunter, but I've never been there. Any commets on Hungry Hunter?
