stb velocity 128 (riva 128) or ati rage 2c which is better

rebuild for a friend, both are available . I looked around on the net and didn't find much to make a clear choice between the two.

Anybody remember which would be better?

Ah yes, a question for those of us who remember the good ole days... The riva 128 w/o a doubt. That was a pretty goundbreaking product, especially compared to the lowly rage series...

Both suck terribly. Try to find a gf2 so he can at least play Quake3.
