If they dont have updated win2k drivers, then probably it wont work in win2k...

not that many TV tuners work in win2k, my friend has an ATI all-in-wonder card... even though they have win2k drivers for the video card, ATI explicitly stated that the TV tuner will not work in win2k even with the updated drivers...

Unfortunately, I think that you are pretty much out of luck using that STB tuner with Win2k, UNLESS you can find a driver on 3dfx's website under Legacy Products. But seeing that 3dfx is now being liquidated....well, it's probably time to start considering alternative options (i.e. buy a new tuner card).

:(

I know for a fact that the Hauppauge ones work (my friend has one), but avoid ATI tuners at all costs; it doesn't seem like they'll ever learn how to write a decent Win2k driver.

I haven't had great success with generic Brooktree BT848 (I think that's the chip) drivers with my STB PCI TV and Win2K. I may have a link or two back at the ranch. PM me to remind me.

I remember the drivers crashing my machine tho.
