Staying in Hotel is getting old really fast

I've been here for a week now. Last round was 2 weeks in a hotel. It blows, but free DSL makes up for part of it.

How long can you stand living in a hotel?

I stayed in a hotel for 5 weeks. Didn't mind it at all. I am single, so that makes a difference I guess..

Work related. I am supposed to spend ~50% of my time in Charlottesville before I move there. Now only 3 weeks left until the move. 🙁

When I used to work on the road a lot the longest I stayed in a hotel was 3 months (well 4 different hotels). Usually a month though.

Cheers,
Aquaman

I spent 2 1/2 years on the road 50% of the time. One of the first things I learned was to always book a suite with kitchen and separate living room. When I hit town I would go to the supermarket and stock up on snacks etc.

It sux being alone, but having the company pay for all the ppv porn helped. 😉

The owner of a Nissan dealership I worked for lived in a hotel for two years that I know of. He loved it. Everything was on one bill, they made his bed , cleaned the room, had laundry pickup for the local dry cleaner, and women didn't overstay their welcome.

craig kilborn lived in a hotel for the first year or so he was out in la. had a beautiful suite, cbs kept letting him stay, so he just let it ride.

I wouldn't mind at all, as long as I had my computer

My laptop doesn't have a very good 3d card and I can't lug my desktop around, so I'd probably lose it pretty quick.

Worst I had was 3 weeks, but I got to go home on the weekends and it was a different place every week. The 2nd week sucked big time, no car and stuck in east bumfvck, Ohio.

i've been living in a hotel room since the beginning of january. get to leave in a couple more weeks! All i have is a microwave, and a mid size refridgerator with a freezer that doesn't freeze. makes eating healthy a real pain in the ass.

When I came off the road after driving long haul, I continually walked into my place and thought "Cool. my stuff is here" In fact the feeling is so universal George Carlin did a bit about it.

Rick Majerus The former coach of the Utah Utes lived in a hotel for YEARS. Even when he took them to the National Championship game.
